A useful training plan starts with a schedule you can actually keep. Two or three focused sessions each week will usually achieve more than an ambitious plan that only lasts a fortnight.
Start with a realistic weekly rhythm
Choose training days that fit around work, family and recovery. Keep the session time consistent where possible, then build the program around the equipment and space available to you.
- Set two or three reliable training times.
- Use a small group of exercises you can progress.
- Record the weight, repetitions and how each session felt.
Measure progress without overcomplicating it
Strength, movement quality, energy and consistency are all useful measures. Review them every few weeks and make one clear change at a time.
